WE ALSO WERE KILLED ON 9/11. AVENGE US. -- FIRST RESPONDERS

First  Responders tell what they heard and saw on 9/11, exposing the EPA-NYC cover-up. “Every major adventure of the U.S. rulers has proceeded on the basis of false flag operations such as 9/11.” – Ralph Schoenman. “I myself ran from Building 7 and I heard with my own ears what sounded like a rapid succession of explosions while running.” -- Craig Bartmer. The air is deadly, first responder Kevin McPadden was told “on the low” by a military chemical/biological weapons expert. “These men risked their lives on 9/11 saving people that they didn’t even know. – Luke Rudkowski “We came to your rescue on 9/11. Now thousands of us and our families need you to come to ours. We also were killed on 9/11. Avenge us.” - David Miller. (1st of a series from NYC, Sept. 9-11, 2006 /18:00) [more see fnb 121/interview transcript]

VIDEO OPEN: 9/11 demonstration CUT TO /ground zero NYC

Ralph Schoenman: (St. Marks Church 9/8/06 NYC)We have to illuminate the structure of power which oppresses us. It’s not only the specific and documented and orchestrated events such as those of 9/11, which is but, after all, a little continuation of the series of the predations that have been visited upon the mass of our people for over 150 years at least. Every major adventure of the U.S. rulers has proceeded on the basis of such false flag operations and such pretexts.

Les Jamieson: (Community Church NYC 9/9/06)Whenever I’m asked, which very often, ‘Do you think the U.S. government would be so crass and so cruel to carry off an attack against its own people the wound up resulting in the massacre of 3000 people?’ I tell them this, ‘Well, they told hundreds of thousands people who live and work in lower Manhattan the air was safe to breath, while to this day it’s not. To this day, there’s contamination down there.

Audience member: …they’d already tested it. They knew!

Les Jamieson: They knew, they knew…

Luke Rudkowski: These men risked their lives on 9/11 saving people that they didn’t even know. They didn’t know these people. It could have been any one of us. In the Twin Towers. In the rubble. And these guys would have still got us out, these guys….

Craig Bartmer (first responder NYPD): I myself ran from Building 7 and I heard with my own ears what sounded like a rapid succession of explosions while running. We can rebuild plane crashes completely with the debris by divers from the ocean but we cannot even produce a single piece of steel from the World Trade Center - steel that hasn’t already been melted down and fabricated into something else – to examine it because the stuff was shipped out of the public eye so quickly; and some of it’s in China, for Christsakes…. There’s no mention of those facts in open debate in any major source that I see.

Kevin McPadden (first responder): Our country’s been taken over by these nasty corporate giants, and they seem to have given our government HIV. And us in the 9/11 truth movement, we’re the white blood cells. We’re the ones holding it back. We’re suffering from a bad infection.

[CUT TO STREET INTEREVIEW WITH MCPADDEN, FORMER AIRMAN, USAF, FIRST RESPONDER]

Snowshoefilms: How’s your health? Did you inhale a lot of the dust? Did you have protection?

Kevin McPadden: No, no. In fact, at times on the pile they would hand us out like these little masks, like the 25 cent mask or whatever, you know. Yeah, they last about an hour before they get filled vapor and sweat and they’re useless. You can’t even breathe through them. You wind up taking them off.

There’s one guy who came in front of the whole task force, the whole unit, and he says, ‘Hey, you need to have a respirator like this. And make sure you have the blue canister. But unfortunately, there’s no blue canisters.’ And there’s about 60 guys who were ready to just jump on him and take his. It was almost like everybody just wanted to go grab his respirator after he said this.

I also…. a gentleman approached me who was an NBC [nuclear/chemical /biological] warfare tech. This kind of person is specialized in poisoning the enemy, and preventing us from being poisoned. We’re watching on the TV… And there was a radio saying the air quality was fine. He approached me on the low and said, “The air quality is 40 times acceptable levels.” He didn’t give me the numbers on deadly levels, but he said 40 times the acceptable levels. So I’m sure deadly levels fell somewhere in between there. And he told me that on the low. And he was taking…. He had the equipment. He was taking air readings and stuff all around. Different spots all around the site. I’d like to find that guy. I want him to come out. Because he has the data.

I’m thankful for… to you guys. You guys are the ones carving a path through this smoke.

Snowshoefilms: the 9/11-truth movement?

McPadden: Yes. I have credentials to get into the [official 9/11] site. But I’d rather pick my teeth with the damned card. It’s useless to me. Those people in there turned their back on me. They don’t know who I am. They don’t know who Kevin McPadden is. But the 9/11-truth movement does.

David Miller (first responder): On September 11, 2001 along with hundreds of my fellow troops I went to Ground Zero. No one asked us. No orders were given. We went because our city, our country, our neighbors were under attack. And we knew what to do. Or at least we thought we did.

I came home 10 days later. I won’t tell you about the vivid images of Ground Zero. There’s no need to. If you were there, you know. If you weren’t there, there’s no need to talk about it. I want to tell you tonight about the people we call heroes. About the people in front of you [on the stage]. About the people you’ve read about in the newspaper for the past week who were invisible for the past five years. About the people who we applauded and put up banners for and wrote songs about and put into music videos and movies, and forgot about. That they were abandoned in their hour of greatest need. And are still in growing numbers living in terrible physical and economic circumstances as they struggle with the carcinogenic effects of the toxic chemical soup Ground Zero became. That they still have the dignity and courage and even now fight like hell to save innocent lives, even as so many of us are dying.

How many people in here live in New York City?

[camera pan back, revealing some 400 in the audience, Community Church, NYC, 9/9/06]

David Miller: Take a look at everybody with their hands up. [nearly half] If this room was full of rescue workers, I’d like to show you all something but I need your cooperation. Will you help me? Can this side of the room, everybody, stand up? [wide angle: audience stands]
Everybody on this side, if you were all rescue workers, you’ll be dead in four years.

[half of the workers from ground zero will be dead in four years]

David Miller: (cont.) That’s our statistics. That’s what’s happening. In seven years, it doubles. This is what Mount Sinai proved in a 17,000-page study that’s on the internet and you can read about it.

I would like to tell tonight you about September 13, 2001, about marching down the west side highway after we’d taken three hours of food and sleep and showers and checkups at the Chelsea Piers, by some incredible volunteers, by thousands of them who had set up a kind of a relief station for those of us who were working on the pile. And on September 13th we marched back in groups of twos and threes at first, and then dozens until there must have been more than 200 of us, carrying ropes, ladders, tools of every kind back into the smoke and the poison and the rubble where we reached an intersection of hundreds of civilians cheering us on. Our uniforms were torn and soiled. Our resolve was simple: stay and dig as long as we had any hope to save anybody.

I want to tell you about how sick some of these brave men and women have become -- how Dr. Thomas Frieden, the Commission of Health of New York has done all he could for the past five years to further denigrate the sacrifice of our soldiers, firemen, police, EMTs, steelworkers, all of the First Responders, by diminishing the clinical findings of his own coroner’s office over and again -- his own study and the undeniable epidemiology of those who came to the city’s rescue on that eternal day.

I want to tell you about how the mayor refused to accept the fact that not dozens, not hundreds but many thousands of us were contaminated, sickened and poisoned by the most toxic combination of building materials in the history of disaster relief. And that for five terrible years he ignored that fact. That’s not how you treat people the city considered heroes.

Instead of all these issues, I’ll tell you about their use of language – “they” being the media, for what passes for journalism in this era. Did anyone else besides me thank God, Baby Jesus and Santa for the incredible luck that the media – all four networks in New York, the leading papers across the country, the internet, all the media paid significant interest to the Mount Sinai study last week rather Paris Hilton’s DWI or the latest Tom Cruise meltdown? That’s…. We finally got coverage, coverage worthy of this issue. It’s only been five years. Five years of our family members watching us drop dead. And every time Popular Mechanics calls the people of this movement “nuts,” these propagandists, professional liars and tools who cannot by any stretch of the imagination be considered journalists, strike another nail into the coffin of another rescue worker.

And every time Time Magazine dismisses real, hard physical evidence that a new investigation needs to be launched into how concrete was pulverized…. every time Time Magazine dismisses that evidence instead writes a 2-page article about the “psychology of the conspiracy movement,’ they perpetuate this build-up of people in very, very coordinated efforts to try and take this movement apart. We who are still dying from 9/11 - who went into the Towers, and into that pile - now live with those buildings in our lungs and digestive systems and our blood.

And if you allow these scumbags to strip you and our movement of its legitimacy, you condemn First Responders to death. So, in closing I’d like to put out a few points that I got, not reflective of the 9/11 movement or its board, if there is such a thing. Just my own opinions from the Popular Mechanics book that I read over the past two days, which is a really good piece of fiction. They are sheep. Popular Mechanics says that we consider in the movement, call people who aren’t in the movement ‘sheep.’ I would consider that valid. See, I know something about sheep. Sheep never conceive that the man who fills their grain bins without any afterthought one day starts cutting throats. We know what they did – ‘they’ being the government. We know what they are capable of and we know that they can do it again.

Time Magazine wants to separate us, marginalize us in order to make discrediting the evidence we’re presenting acceptable. And that’s a threat to every one of us. We’re now officially ‘conspiracy nuts.’ Give yourself a round of applause. Time, U.S. News & World Report, Popular Mechanics have all said so. We’re ‘worse than Oliver Stone ever was with JFK. Worse than Spike Lee with that damned Katrina HBO special, worse than that fat sonofabitch Michael Moore for suggesting that Iraq is unjustifiable and the Bush-Cheney-Bin Laden families have all been incestuous with each other with wild disregard, out in the open, because sometimes that’s the best place to hide. Loose Change is more dangerous than anything they’ve ever encountered. In the words of a popular radio host, Michael Savage who’s really interesting to listen to since he’s completely out of his mind: “They’re giving it [Loose Change] away like the goddamned New Testament on a CD. How do you stop that?”

They can’t hide the truth forever from everyone so they’ll discredit it and to do that…. to do that first you have to attack the character of the movement, the public perception of our individual psychological status as a whole group, and this is what Time Magazine tried to do. Yes. Then, you see, their numbers will shrink or at least they’ll become stagnant. After all, for godsakes, these people think they’re a movement. It’s obvious what happens next. ‘They’re radicals. They’re undermining the war on terrorism.’

The Bush administration is just the worst liars, the most dramatically overt in their manipulations and deceit. They really don’t give a crap if we see right through their schemes. Johnson, Nixon, Reagan, Bush…. even Clinton tried to hide dirty laundry. The first establishment, though, the genuine American dynasty…. the dynasty that would have been established if the Kennedy’s hadn’t for generation after generation gotten blown away…* See, now we’re starting to…. we’re so delusional that we’re comparing conspiracies. We in this room understand the convolutions of Empire. How was the concrete pulverized? How was glass micronized into dust? And how was there molten steel? But a passport survived…. What were those explosions reported by the FDNY? And why weren’t the planes intercepted? And how did Hani Hanjour learn to fly like that? I don’t think we’re crazy. Everyone in this administration had motive, intent and opportunity. Conspiracies are only evidence the courts won’t hear.

We came to your rescue on 9/11. Now thousands of us and our families need you to come to ours. For myself and far too many of us, research and effective treatment is going to arrive far too late. I have double metastasizations in both lungs. That’s just a reality. But remember the other side of this room that stood up. We’re the canaries in the coal mine. Where did all that dust go? We were also killed on 9/11. Avenge us.

* Within the 9/11 movement, it was probably Eric Hufschmid who most forthrightly projected the sheep metaphor to describe those who insist on believing the official story contrary to proffered evidence. Others, such as therapist and clinical hypnotist Larry Burk find it more useful to understanding what we are up against by examining (on a macro and micro level) the creation and reinforcement of the trance state. And Julian Jaynes in The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind just hints at the manipulation of the vestigial bicameral mind by those who, since the inception of consciousness in the human species, practice deception as the primary method of social control.

An additional observation: First Responders Miller, McPadden et al represent the combined and uneven development of the 9/11 movement with its worker intellectuals from ‘right’ and ‘left’ perspectives, a phenomenon that goes unrecognized or spurned by leading progressive sheep, or shepherds.

We Were Also Killed on 9/11, Avenge Us was filmed and edited by snowshoefilms co-founder and technical director Josh Harvey. Filmmakers’ notebook #121 & transcription by Roy Harvey.
