ZELIKOW, Philip
Zelikow, 9/11 insider, is scheduled to speak at Chautauqua Institution on August 9, 2007 (western New York, near Jamestown).
As Webster Tarpley notes, Zelikow is very important in the 9/11 cover-up.
In 1998, Philip Zelikow published an article in Foreign Affairs, the journal of the Council on Foreign Relations, entitled CATASTROPHIC TERRORISM: Imagining the Transformative Event. Nearly two years later, PNAC picked up the CFR-Zelikow language, saying that the desired transformation "is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor..."
In part one of this series, we hear from author Webster
Tarpley, Professor Graeme MacQueen (religious studies, McMaster University, ret.), Ken Jenkins (filmmaker), and Peter Dale Scott, author.
Zelikow, hired as a Bush II transition team member for his expertise on
al-Qaeda (according to Karen Hughes), didn't want to hear anything about
al-Qaeda from Richard Clarke, chief counter-terrorism expert on George W. Bush's national security council. Similarly, John Ashcroft at the Dept. of Justice didn't want to hear anything about
al-Qaeda before 9/11 from Thomas Picard, acting director of the FBI. In these and other instances, Zelikow as executive director of the 9/11 Commission, suborned perjury, Webster Tarpley charges.
Tarpley reveals Zelikow's cover-up role in the Able Danger FBI effort to expose
"al-Qaeda" cells. Prof. Graeme MacQueen calls attention to Zelikow's unique role in predicting then explicating the consequences of "the transformative event" as head of the commission charged with investigating the catastrophic terrorism of 9/11. Ken Jenkins and Peter Dale Scott note that Zelikow's expertise is in creating and exploiting public myths, and that Zelikow's links to the neo-cons date to the early 1980s. The 9/11 investigation was itself an inside job.

FRAMEWORK - McMURTRY
In Sept. 2000, the PNAC published an article which observed that the "process of transformation...is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor." The principal author of that article was Thomas Donnelly, who shortly after 9/11 went to work for Lockheed Martin.
In part 2 of this series, Professor John McMurtry explains why 9/11 happened when it did, and calls attention to Canadian media cover-up of the crime which accepts and promotes the implausible conspiracy theory. Illustrating the restrictions on public debate in Canada, McMurtry recalls the March 18, 2003 CBC TV debate between himself and Thomas Donnelly, who's identified as a PNAC founder and AEI "fellow." To charges that Donnelly was advocating war crimes by calling for and planning for the invasion of Iraq, Donnelly offers this mantra-like defense, "The use of American power in the world has been, as a matter of practical and historical fact, the sole reliable instrument, first of all, for bringing peace and stability and freedom to the European continent. Secondly, we hope now to do the same sort of thing in Iraq."
Within the media, the upshot of this debate was that the CBC producer who brought McMurtry on the program was fired, demoted out. Word of such corporate response gets around quickly and self-censorship tends to follow. Official media contributes to the life-blinding of the public, and itself. OF 503 FIRST-RESPONDER EYEWITNESSES (part 1 of 2)
Within a month of 9/11, NYC fire commissioner Thomas Von Essen, a 30-year NYFD vet, set up interviews with fire, port authority police and EMT first responders, getting their initial impressions of what they experienced on Sept 11. The stories of 503 men and women is 11,000 pages, the most comprehensive on-the-scene report of what happened that day. Graeme
MacQueen, a recently retired religious studies professor, read all 11,000 pages. In addition to the heartrending nature of many of the stories, the consistent theme was of hearing, feeling and seeing explosions, a controlled
demoliton. Failure to officially acknowledge this evidence is further proof of an inside job by
goverment, and complicity in the coverup by the media.
MacQueen, a Buddhist scholar (McMaster University, Ontario, Canada), narrowed down the testimony of 108 interviews as especially court-worthy testimony. But he notes the entire testimony was excluded by the 9/11 Commission. Nor did the National Institute of Standards and Technology

We at snowshoe first heard of the split in 9/11 Scholars for
Truth in an e-mail when a 9/11 activist suggested we take our
Prof Morgan Reynolds interview down. We answered that we and
wouldn’t remove it, but would like to publish her comments
along with ours but she didn't get back to us. Not being
members of 9/11 Scholars for Truth (though we applauded its
creation, and its value in activating academics and lending
credibility to the 9/11 truth movement), we were not
integrally involved in the controversy. Prof Jim Fetzer (U. of
Minnesota, Duluth, ret.) is a friend. And Prof Steven E. Jones’
work has been of great value; we interviewed him in Chicago,
and count him as a sincere colleague. But trying to sort out
what seemed to be epiphenomenal conflicts wasn’t the highest
thing on our list of priorities. In Milwaukee, however, we

In writing this paper, I call for a serious investigation of the
hypothesis that WTC 7 and the Twin Towers were brought down, not
just by damage and fires, but through the use of pre-positioned
explosives. I consider the official FEMA, NIST, and 9-11
Commission reports that fires plus damage alone caused complete
collapses of all three buildings. And I present evidence for the
explosive-demolition hypothesis, which is suggested by the
available data, testable and falsifiable, and yet has not been
analyzed in any of the reports funded by the US government.

Decoding the Compulsion to Disconnect
In May 2004, leading Americans and the international community
were indignant at the tortures of Iraqi prisoners by U.S.
occupying forces when undeniable pictures were published. Yet
no-one in the media of record or anyone else in a position of
public trust scrupled to observe what had started it all - the
lawless U.S. invasion of Iraq in March 2003, “the supreme crime
” under international law, the crime which the judges at
Nuremberg described as “only differing from other war crimes in
that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the
whole”.2 The torture was, as the judges at Nuremberg had
foreseen, a predictable consequence of “the supreme crime”. Yet

ED ASNER: UNITY IS THE KEY
Actor Edward Asner takes his role as tough journalist (Mary
Tyler Moore Show and Lou Grant 1970-1982) to heart:
he courageously asks tough questions about 9-11. He examines and
rejects the official story. He follows the leads. He takes
risks, as any journalist, writer or activist must who faces
head-on the “culpability and criminality” within the U.S
government. But Ed Asner wisely suggests that “unity is the key”

JOHN McMURTRY: WHY THE FACTS OF
9-11 ARE SUPPRESSED Understanding the ruling group-mind behind the
war without end: “In response to the extreme pressures of forcing
reality to conform to manufactured delusions, the group and its members
become increasingly submerged within a pre-conscious field of hysteria,
denials and projections. In the case of 9-11 and the 9-11 Wars, the
shadow subject of the ruling group-mind and its executive vector
propelled two war criminal invasions of other societies and
police-state laws across the world in under three years.” Insight into
the “ruling group-mind” is reflected by David Rockefeller at a
Bilderberg session in 1991: “A supernational sovereignty of an
intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the
national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.” Their program
is being played out in Iraq against heroic resistance, while elsewhere
in the empire the “regulating group-mind” (what Julian Jaynes calls the
collective cognitive imperative; and Leon Festinger, in his manual on
cognitive dissonance, calls cognition.) demands complicity with its
fundamental assumptions, e.g. that 9-11 was an attack from the outside

ROBERT BOWMAN After 22 years in the US Air Force, Bowman retired
in 1978 as director of Air Force Space Division/Advanced Space
Programs Development. Until 1982, he was manager of General
Dynamics’ Advanced Space Programs. Star Wars, in short. Dr.
Bowman’s credentials and experience (PhD, Caltech etc.) are of
special note considering his call for the indictment of George
W. Bush et al. for TREASON for 9/11 and the cover-up.
Bowman spoke at the International Citizens Inquiry Into 9/11 in
